Nollywood actor Timini Egbuson has shared a new and more personal take on what truly matters in relationships, saying love requires more than just financial support.

During a chat on Jay On-Air TV, the actor explained that his thinking has changed with time and experience. While he once believed providing money was the most important role in a relationship, he now feels emotional connection and communication are just as necessary.

According to Timini, relationships suffer when one partner is not mentally and emotionally available.

He admitted that in a past relationship, his inability to communicate properly caused problems. At the time, he was heavily focused on work and did not pay enough attention to the emotional needs of his partner.

Looking back, the actor says he now understands that love is about showing up, listening, and being involved, not just paying bills.
