Big Brother Naija reality star Cross Okonkwo has warned fans against paying anyone to attend his upcoming wedding.

The former housemate issued the alert on his Instagram story after discovering that a scammer was charging N500,000 for fake invites.

Cross made it clear that no one should pay any money. He stated that he is only selling access cards, not tickets.

“Pls, no one should pay anybody money o. If you’re part of CN, pls reach out to Pam; she will help you out. Pls, no one is selling tickets for my wedding. Anyone who says you should bring money is a thief, and you should report them ASAP. I am not selling any tickets, only access cards. Thank you,” he wrote.

Cross and his wife Chinonso already held their court wedding on Monday, February 23. He later shared photos and introduced them to the world as Mr and Mrs Okonkwo.

He proposed to Chinonso in October 2025. The reality star got down on one knee and promised to love her “today, tomorrow, and forever.”
